An historic performance of Benjamin Britten's War Requiem by The Bach Choir on October 3rd at Westminster Cathedral will be supported by a cast of three celebrities speaking and reading about the horrors of war. The Requiem was Britten's musical plea for peace. He chose The Bach Choir to perform on the first recording of the work almost 60 years ago and now once more they will be performing the work.

Brian Friel's Aristocrats have moved into the Donmar for the late summer. The aristocrats in question are four of the O'Donnell siblings, reuniting at their childhood home Ballybeg Hall at a time when their father is seriously ailing and one sister is about to marry a significantly older man...

Joining Aisling Loftus and Matthew Needham in THE TREATMENT are Gary Beadle, Ian Gelder, Ben Onwukwe, Julian Ovenden, Ellora Torchia, Indira Varma, and Hara Yannas. THE TREATMENT begins previews at the Almeida Theatre on Monday 24 April and runs until Saturday 10 June. The press night is Friday 28 April. Following its ratings success in the U.S., MASTERPIECE and PBS have announced a second season of Mr. Selfridge, starring Jeremy Piven.

Award-winning actor JEREMY PIVEN (Entourage) will lead the cast as American entrepreneur, Harry Gordon Selfridge, in new drama MR SELFRIDGE (working title), about the life of the flamboyant and visionary American entrepreneur, produced by ITV Studios for ITV1.

Tribeca Film today announced that it will release THE GIANT MECHANICAL MAN, DEATH OF A SUPERHERO, and SLEEPLESS NIGHT nationwide via video-on-demand during the Tribeca Film Festival, which runs April 18-29. The films are each an official selection of the Festival and feature notable actors such as Jenna Fischer, Topher Grace, Malin Akerman, Tomer Sisley, Andy Serkis and Thomas Brodie-Sangster.
