A turbulent marriage, a family gathering, a terminal illness and abundant wealth set the stage for this Pulitzer Prize-winning classic. Set in the Mississippi plantation home of wealthy cotton tycoon Big Daddy Pollitt, Williams' work tells the story of a Southern family in crisis. When the family gathers to celebrate Big Daddy's 65th birthday, the reunion jogs intense memories and a shockwave of truths is revealed for a father and son.
