Join us for an afternoon of Cabaret featuring one of New York City’s finest musical theatre performers...Mr. Trevor Southworth! Combining two of his favorite things in life, musical theatre and a good book, Trevor Southworth brings you an afternoon of songs inspired by some of the greatest pieces of literature...and maybe some of the not so great! Featuring songs from Les Miserables, Phantom of The Opera, 1776, Camelot and many others! Come celebrate two of the worlds greatest art forms with him!
Trevor has spent the last ten years in New York City. While there he performed at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, wrote and performed two one-man shows and spent three years Off- Broadway. Some favorite roles have been: MacHeath in Threepenny Opera, Jasper in Drood the Musical, Annas in Jesus Christ Superstar and Enjolras in Les Miserables: In Concert. Trevor was recently featured at The Winter Park Playhouse in the sell-out musical, 8 Track: Sounds of the 70's, and directed the Athens Theatre’s hit Musical "All Shook Up"!
What Mr. Southworth has to say about "The Library is Now Open" – "I love books, I love everything about 'em! I also love the theatre. I figured what better way to celebrate two of my lifelong passions than to combine the two and share them with an audience."
