Legendary pianist and composer, Herbie Hancock, has influenced the landscape of modern music for more than half a century. From his notable beginnings with the Miles Davis Quintet, Herbie Hancock has continued his musical explorations to the outer limits of jazz and beyond. Few artists have had more influence on acoustic and electronic jazz, R&B and modern rock. He has received an Academy Award for his Round Midnight film score, as well as 14 Grammy Awards. While one can never predict where Herbie Hancock will go next, he is sure to leave his inimitable imprint wherever he lands.
