More than a century after its 1895 publication and premiere performance, Oscar Wilde’s enduring social satire (he subtitled it "A Trivial Comedy for Serious People"!), "The Importance of Being Earnest" continues to delight. Fast-paced and witty, it is a masterpiece of comedic misunderstandings and rebellion. Two sets of lovers and a cast of eccentric characters navigate hidden romance, mistaken identities, deceptions, and secrets.
PERFORMANCES: 8pm Thu - Sat; 2pm Sun. Extra matinee 2pm Tue Sept 25.
