Rent Control is the story of a struggling actor who falls backwards into an NYC rent-controlled apartment and turns it into a lucrative AIRBNB scheme, in this wild-but-true one-man-show, written and performed by Evan Zes.
Zes decides to fund his acting career by renting out his apartment as he works all over the country. But when the situation seems too good to be true and the police are called, how long can it last? Watch Zes portray nearly 30 characters as they close in on him and threaten to ruin his life in this cautionary tale of greed and redemption.
Rent Control begs the questions; “What would you do to hold on to your apartment in New York City? What would you do to pursue your dreams?
