ABOUT FRESH TRACKS
New York Live Arts’ Fresh Tracks Residency & Performance program is a season-long residency for emerging movement-based artists in support of new work creation and professional development. This season marks the 58th year of Fresh Tracks which was a signature program of Dance Theater Workshop created in 1965 to bring new choreographic artistry to the forefront.
The 2022-2023 season will continue to follow the updated version of the Fresh Tracks Residency Program:
Five artists will be selected for the program who will receive a 50-hour studio residency, $3000 fee, working with Artistic Advisor nia love, take part in professional development workshops led by renowned professionals from the field, exclusive access to Live Arts’ Communications, Development, Production and Programming staff, a Live Core Artist Membership and a fully-produced shared program in the New York Live Arts theater.
Nancy Manocherian's the cell theatre (Artistic Director Kira Simring) has announced their 2023 season, featuring a year of full productions, art exhibitions, developmental workshops, and over 30 resident artists.
The Asian American Arts Alliance has announced the selection of Annie Heath for its 2021 Jadin Wong Fellowship, which includes a $6,000 unrestricted cash award and eight months of professional development training and career support to foster the next milestone of Heath's artistic career.
Internationally acclaimed choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker highlights the season opening of New York Live Arts (Live Arts) with two early benchmarks of postmodern dance, Fase (September 24-28, 2019) and Rosas danst Rosas (October 1-5, 2019).
New York Live Arts announces its 2019-20 Fresh Tracks artists: Anh Vo, Annie Heath, Jordan Lloyd, Kayla Hamilton and Stuart B Meyers. One of New York Live Arts' signature New Work Development Programs, Fresh Tracks is a season-long residency and performance opportunity designed for early career artists who explore hybrid and movement-based work.
