Music and Book by David Allen Dilsizian. Based on a true story about a young man coming out to his religous mother.
Synopsis- Dan Sarkisian moves to New York City from a small town in Michigan. He’s there to study fashion design but quickly learns he has even more to learn about himself.
Dan makes new friends in the city that love and accept him just as he is. This new freedom allows him to explore his identity. With their support he falls in love with himself and another man.
At thanksgiving break he finds himself back in Michigan visiting his mom. How will she respond to his new found identity? Is a mother’s love more powerful than culture or religion?
