Three Rockland County Playwrights Commissioned Short Plays On The Subject Of Greed

Phoenix Theatre Ensemble, a nonprofit theatre company based in New York City and recently expanded to Nyack, NY, is now in its 15th season and announces a unique-and unpredictable--evening of readings of new commissioned short plays on the subject of greed by three noted Rockland County playwrights, Samuel Harps, Christopher Kyle, and Angelo Parra.

The world-premiere plays - each about 15 minutes long-- will be read impromptu by a group of assembled brave and courageous actors whose roles will be determined, regardless of age or gender, by drawing names out of a hat. Actors will be given their script and 5 minutes of prep time. This promises to be a unique and somewhat unpredictable evening.

Rockland playwrights are Samuel Harps, Christopher Kyle and Angelo Parra. The actors include Kevin Confoy, Jon Di Savino, Katie Elevich, Peter Garruba, Tracy McAllister, Meg Sewell, Elise Stone, and Derek Tarson.
