How do you get through the holidays when you've lost your life partner and best friend? With fond memories, laughter, a dash of show biz, and maybe a note or two. That's how the actress in Judy Frank's "Notes to Wherever" has gotten through the last three years when the hurt refused to go away and she could no longer depend on her handsome and witty actor husband to keep life in New York sparkling. Now, on this night, she decides to read her notes aloud, both as a gesture of sharing and perhaps letting go...

Performances take place at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street (three blocks south of Christopher Street), New York, NY 10014. Subway: 1 to Christopher Street. Running time: 90 minutes.

Tickets are $40 and are available at http://www.cherrylanetheatre.org/onstage/notes-to-wherever/. More info is available at https://actorsfund.org/performances-and-events/notes-wherever

Judy Frank (Playwright/Performer) has appeared on Broadway, off-Broadway, and in films and commercials. She has even worked on an honest to goodness traveling showboat. As a writer, two of her novels have been published by the Dial Press and honored by Breadloaf, the oldest writer's conference in America. Now for the first time she combines acting and writing as she presents "Notes to Wherever", which was cited for excellence in playwriting by the Kaufman Award. She is particularly pleased to present "Notes" to benefit of The Actors' Fund of America, for which she serves as a National Ambassador.

Kathryn Markey (Director) shared the stage with Judy Frank years ago and is honored to be shepherding this production. She has directed at the University of Pittsburgh, The Woman Playwrights Initiative at Ivoryton Playhouse, Mason Street Warehouse, Ocean State Theatre, Axelrod PAC, New London Barn, Cortland Rep, The Depot, and the White Plains PAC. She has 14 seasons at Saint Michael's Playhouse and is the resident director for "In Your Face New York" at St. Ann's Warehouse & Merkin Concert Hall. Her performing credits span NY, regional and international stages, and she is the creator of the satirical country band "The Chalks." www.kathrynmarkey.com
