Virginia Repertory Theatre 2023/2024 National Touring Season - Virginia Repertory Theatre Non Equity Auditions

Virginia Repertory Theatre is seeking non-union actors for its 2023/2024 National Touring Season!

The touring season runs from late August to early June with four to eight tours on the road each semester. We travel extensively in our home state of Virginia and throughout most of the United States.
Virginia Rep on Tour is full-time employment during the course of the contract.
Pay: $480/wk, paid overtime, $25/per diem on overnight tour dates.
Contract Dates: August 29, 2023-June 8, 2024. Exact dates will vary. Fall semester contracts are 3-4 months starting as early as August 2023. Spring semester contracts are 3-5 months starting in January 2024 and ending as late as June 2024. It is possible to work consecutive contracts and tour both semesters.
Transportation costs while on tour, including all hotels, are arranged and paid for by Virginia Rep. Many tours have consecutive weeks of travel while others are mostly comprised of day-trips. Company housing available in Richmond for non-local artists.
Cast size ranges from three to five actors and these actors are expected to perform, serve as crew, and share the driving of the Virginia Rep Van.
We will follow all CDC guidelines and safety precautions during rehearsals and performances.
All cast members must be vaccinated against Covid-19. You will need to show proof of vaccination before rehearsals begin.
