We are seeking a man 60s to 80s and a woman mid-20s to mid-30s for the cast which consists of 2 characters:

Judge Frances Biddle, 81, a once brilliant man, aristocratic scion of an old Main Line Philadelphia family, at the end of a long and illustrious career that included Attorney General of the United States under Franklin Roosevelt and Chief American Judge at the 1946 Nuremberg Trials , now functioning, as he says, “somewhere between lucidity and senility.”

Sarah Schorr, 25, recently hired by Mrs. Biddle to be the Judge’s secretary, a direct, plain spoken, pleasant young woman, originally from the prairie province of Saskatchewan.

Actors should prepare two short monologues, one comedic and one dramatic. There will also be cold readings from the script.

Show dates (non-negotiable) are July 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27.

Rehearsals will be scheduled for the convenience of all. The cast will also be asked to help with set construction and painting, and set strikes of both the previous play, Marjorie Prime on Sunday June 23 (date not firm), and Trying on Sunday, July 28.
