Auditions:
Saturday, March 30th, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, in half hour increments.
Call-backs if needed will Monday, April 1st, 7 pm - 9 pm
Run Dates of Show:
June 7th - 30th, 2024
Performances are:
Friday & Saturday at 8:00pm
Sunday at 3:00pm
Call time is one hour prior to curtain.
A stipend of $100.00 will be paid for all actors cast in the show.

Info about the show and production:
The Four Old Broads are back, with some wacky new friends, in an all-new comedy. Against her better judgement, Lurleen Dupree is throwing the seventh annual Miss Magnolia Senior Citizen Beauty Pageant. Martha Parcell is certain that it is finally her year to win. But Beatrice, Imogene and Eaddy have other plans. Throw in a tambourine-playing squirrel, dueling Elvises, and an unfortunate spray-tanning incident… and you’re in for a knee-slapping, side-splitting night of live theatre.

First read-thru is Monday, April 8th - 7 pm - 10 pm
Rehearsals start Monday, April 15th
Rehearsals will be Monday through Thursday, 7 pm - 10 pm and some Saturday days or Sunday evenings. Please note that due to the construction of the play, not every actor is called each rehearsal day.
CONFLICTS - “Not at this time” is not an answer. We will only consider 2 conflicts for the run of the rehearsal process. Any more is at the discretion of the director. No conflicts are allowed for the mandatory tech week or performances. If you are auditioning for another show, please let us know.
Mandatory Tech Week - Sunday, June 2, 10 am-10 pm and Monday - Thursday, June 3 - 6, 6 pm to 11 pm.
CASTING: 2 Women and 1 Man
Lurleen Dupree (F) - 30's to 50's, worn-out and weary pageant coordinator
Martha Parcell (F) - 60+, a snooty senior citizen. (The villain)
Clovis Crown (M) - 60+, an awkward and nerdy senior citizen
***** The roles of Beatrice, Eaddy Mae, Imogene, Maude, Sam & Hazel are precast. *****

* Bring a current head shot and resume
* Be prepared for cold readings from the script
* Schedule an appointment
* Fill out an audition form that will be provided at the door
