THE CENTURION is based on the true life story of a NYC narcotics detective. The play is his journey from naivete through shattered illusions and redemption.The YOUNG COP is the personification of his inner transformation.
Seeking- THE CENTURION-male actor, age 40's to 50's.Rugged good looks. Non-Equity THE YOUNG COP-in his 20's,preferably has a babyface.Male. Non-equity. Actors will play various roles. Four weeks of rehearsals followed by one week of performances ,starting at the end of May,2013 with performances for one week in June in Providence, RI. Actors must be available in August for Summerfest at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre in NYC for a week. Stipend and expenses paid for actors selected as first cast and understudy.
Auditions will be held at ROGER WILLIAMS UNIVERSITY,PROVIDENCE CAMPUS, 3RD FLOOR, 150 WASHINGTON STREET, PROVIDENCE,RI ON FEB.20TH FROM 3-6PM WITH CALLBACKS ON FEBRUARY 21 FROM 3-6PM.
