WAUKESHA CIVIC THEATRE ANNOUNCES OPEN AUDITIONS FOR:

To Kill A Mockingbird

Open auditions for the Waukesha Civic Theatre’s production of To Kill A Mockingbird will be held:

  • Monday, August 8, 2016 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
  • Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
  • Callbacks, if needed, will be on Wednesday, August 10 at 7 pm

No appointment is necessary. Auditions will be held at the Waukesha Civic Theatre Building at 264 West Main Street, Waukesha. Those auditioning should be prepared to read from the script. Character descriptions from the director are also available at the WCT website
audition page. If you will not arrive at auditions until 8:30 or later, please contact the theatre so the director can be informed.

Based on the novel by Harper Lee, this is the classic story of an African American man falsely accused of rape in Depression-era Alabama, seen through the eyes of young Scout Finch. To Kill A Mockingbird is an enduring American classic.

All roles are open.

There are 7 roles for men aged 20-60. There are 4 roles for women aged 20-60.

There are 3 roles for men aged 60+. There are 2 roles for women aged 60+.

There are 2 roles for boys aged 7-19. There is 1 role for girls aged 7-19.

To Kill A Mockingbird will run October 28-November 13, 2016 at WCT, including three weekday, daytime performances. Rhonda Schmidt is directing. For more information, visit our website at
