Eastbound Theatre, a division of The Milford Arts Council announces auditions for The Realistic Joneses

Eastbound Theatre, a division of the Milford Arts Council, announces auditions for the first show of its 29th season, The Realistic Joneses written by Will Eno and directed by CJ Nolan.

Performances will be fall weekends from September 23 – October 9, 2022.

Those auditioning and anyone who would like to work on this production must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and if booster eligible, booster preferred. Proof of vaccination is required at auditions. While at auditions, callbacks, rehearsals, and backstage at performances, all participants must be masked unless directed otherwise by the director.

Auditions will be held at 7:00 p.m. on July 19th and 20th at the MAC, 40 Railroad Avenue South, Milford. Additionally, interested actors who may be unable to attend the audition times should contact the director at mburma521@outlook.com.

Roles are available for 2 women and 2 men. Actors will be asked to read sides from the script. Actors interested in reviewing the script should contact the director at mburma521@outlook.com or producer Nancy A Herman at nahshell33@aol.com.

Synopsis: Bob Jones and his wife Jennifer meet their new next-door neighbors, John and Pony Jones. They discuss their lives, giving an inside look at the people who live next door, the truths we think we know and the secrets we never imagined we all might share. A celebrated Broadway production included Toni Collette, Tracy Letts, Michael C Hall and Marisa Tomei.

  • Bob Jones, 40-50]
  • John Jones, younger

Women:

  • Jennifer Jones, 40-50
  • Pony Jones, younger
