The Omaha Community Playhouse (OCP) is holding auditions for all 2019/20 season musicals—including Annie, The Rocky Horror Show, A Christmas Carol, Once, Bright Star, and The Color Purple—on the following dates: Saturday, June 15 at 11 a.m. (adults), Sunday, June 16 at 6 p.m. (adults) and Saturday, June 22 at 11 a.m. (youth under 16).
Through upholding high ethical standards, demonstrating respect for all and consciously working to provide diverse representation, OCP is committed to creating an inclusive and safe environment in which all community members feel a sense of belonging, and does not discriminate in casting practices on the basis of an individual's ethnicity, age, gender, physical and cognitive ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, country of origin or other factors. Actors interested in Annie, The Rocky Horror Show, A Christmas Carol, Once, Bright Star and The Color Purple should plan to attend. Actors should enter through the main lobby on the south or east side of the facility.
Once will include actors playing instruments. If you are interested in this specific musical and have an instrument, please bring the instrument with you and be prepared to play 16 bars of music of your choice. You may also accompany your own singing audition if you prefer.

There will be additional auditions held throughout the season for the following productions: SWEAT, A RAISIN IN THE SUN, NATIVE GARDENS and FOR PETER PAN ON HER 70TH BIRTHDAY.
