The Un-Common Theatre Company announces September Auditions for
“Disney’s The Little Mermaid”
The Un-Common Theatre Company is thrilled to announce auditions for their Fall Production of “Disney’s The LittleMermaid” on Sunday, September 11th,2016, from 1:00 to 4:00pm. The production will feature a cast of 2nd through 12thgraders and will be performed on November18-20, 2016.
This production brings together the creative team of Director and Choreographer Michael Hammond (Holbrook, MA) and Music Director Danielle Clougher (Canton, MA), who’s most recent shows include “Shrek the Musical”,“Hairspray”, “School of Rock” and “Heathers – The Musical”.
Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, “Disney's The Little Mermaid” is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and acompelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs including Under the Sea, Kiss the Girl, and Part of Your World.

Auditions will be held at the South Foxboro Community Center for students in Grades 2 through 12 on Sunday, September 11th, from 1:00 to 4:00pm BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Callbacks will be held at 6:00pm. All roles are available. To make an appointment,

For those who are out of practice or would like to improve their auditioning skills, Un-Common is also offering an Audition Workshop, taught by “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” creative team of Michael Hammond and Danielle Clougher. This Audition Workshop is being held on Thursday, September 8th, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Qualters Middle School in Mansfield, MA. Please email
