THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED - Town Players of Newtown
Town Players of Newtown announces
auditions for THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED by Douglas Carter Beane on March
10 & 11.

In this scathingly funny, of-the-moment show that was originally
produced off-Broadway at the Second Stage Theater, actor Mitchell
becomes involved in a physical relationship with hustler Alex. As a
result, Diane, his acerbic agent, worries that Mitchell's "slight
recurring case of homosexuality" will put the kibosh on his career
permanently.

David Bass of Danbury will direct.

THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED calls for two men and two women, ages 18 and
up. Auditions will take place at the theater, 18 Orchard Hill Road in
Newtown, on March 10 & 11 from 7:30-9:30 PM. No appointment is
necessary. All roles are open and auditions will consist of readings
from the script.

Rehearsals begin in March, and the production run is Fridays and
Saturdays, May 3 through May 25, with two Sunday matinee performances.

Town Players’ Little Theatre is a community theater, currently in its
77th season, located on 18 Orchard Hill Road, just off Route 25 (a
mile north of the Sand Hill Plaza) in Newtown, Conn.
