Mad Cow Theatre announces auditions for The History Boys
MAD COW THEATRE is holding auditions for its upcoming production of The History Boys by Alan Bennett, directed by Mark Edward Smith. Production dates are August 8-September 7, 2014. Rehearsals will begin in early July.
Mad Cow Theatre is seeking young professional actors with strong dramatic and comedic skills for the roles of “The Boys” in The History Boys. Actors should read as high school teenagers 15-18 years old. Auditioners should prepare two contrasting 1-minute monologues and bring a picture and resume. One role requires the ability to play the piano. If you play piano please prepare 32 bars of an upbeat song for the audition. Monologues should be from published work only. Character descriptions can be found on our
website.
Auditions will be scheduled by appointment only on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 6pm-9pm.
