Town Players of Newtown announces auditions for THE HAUNTING by Hugh Janes on September 10 & 11.
In an ancient, crumbling mansion deep in the English countryside, two men stumble upon a dark, terrifying secret that will change their lives forever.
Directed by David Bass of Danbury, THE HAUNTING is adapted from the ghost stories of Charles Dickens.
Town Players is proud to announce that this is the U.S. premiere of this production.
THE HAUNTING calls for two men and one woman, ages 18 and up. Auditions will take place at the theater, 18 Orchard Hill Road in Newtown, on September 10 & 11 from 7:30-9:30 PM. No appointment is necessary. All roles are open and auditions will consist of readings from the script.
Rehearsals begin in September, and the production run is Fridays and Saturdays, November 9 through December 1, with two Sunday matinee performances.
Town Players’ Little Theatre is a community theater, currently in its 77th season, located on 18 Orchard Hill Road, just off Route 25 (a mile north of the Sand Hill Plaza) in Newtown, Conn.
