South Bend Civic Theatre will hold auditions for the musical The Color Purple May 13-15.
Directed by Joshua Napierkowski and Quinton McMutaury with Music Direction by James Douglas, a large number of African-American performers are needed to fill the stirring world of The Color Purple. A breakdown of characters and age and vocal requirements follows.
Auditions will be as follows: Monday May 13 at 7:00 PM at the Layman Chapel CME Church 303 S Kensmore South Bend; Tuesday May 14 at 7:00 PM in South Bend Civic Theatre’s Wilson Mainstage Auditorium, 403 N Main St. South Bend; Wednesday May 15 at 7:00 PM at the Scottish Rite Building, 427 N Main St South Bend (across the parking lot from SBCT).
