WAUKESHA CIVIC THEATRE ANNOUNCES OPEN AUDITIONS FOR:

The Boxcar Children

Open auditions for the Waukesha Civic Theatre’s production of The Boxcar Children will be held:

  • Sunday, May 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Monday, May 6 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30p.m.
  • Callbacks will be on Wednesday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m.

No appointment is necessary. Auditions will be held at the Waukesha Civic Theatre Building at 264 West Main Street, Waukesha. Those auditioning should be prepared to read from the script.

Four orphans, desperate to stay together, go on the run and turn an abandoned boxcar into a home. Pursued by the authorities and a mysterious stranger, the children discover the rewards and perils of life on the run. The Boxcar Children is a story of family, hope, survival, and love.

All roles are open.

There are two roles for boys and two roles for girls ages eight to fourteen. There are eleven roles for men and women ages 20 and up. These eleven roles may be played by two men and two women, or by five men and six women.
