Side by Side by Sondheim is a musical revue featuring the songs of the Broadway and film composer Stephen Sondheim. Its title is derived from the song "Side by Side by Side" from Company.
The Taylor Performing Arts Center is located on the campus of Monrovia High School, 325 E. Huntington Dr., Monrovia, CA.
We are casting up to six females and up to six males in lead singing/acting roles, as well as a narrator for this professional production for the community.
Small stipends will be available for lead roles.
Auditions will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Callbacks are by invitation only and will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m.
Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song from a musical (stage or film) that shows your range. Be sure to bring sheet music with you in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided (NO CDs, please).
Be prepared to dance. Please wear movement friendly clothing. A dance combination will be taught at the audition. You DO NOT need to prepare a dance routine of your own.
Please bring a resume and headshot with you.
