NextStage Theatre Company is seeking original musicals, currently in development, for NEW MUSICAL MONDAY: a monthly showcase that features two-four songs (depending on length) from three dynamic new musical theatre pieces. Submissions are now being accepted for musicals to feature on the final Monday of months January-April 2021. Submissions are open through January 15, 2021. If selected, NextStage will facilitate the hiring of a music director, director, and actor/singers for the showcase of your featured musical.

Submit at least 2 song demos from your new musical. You can submit up to 4 songs, but the total length of all songs should not exceed 20 minutes.
If your piece is chosen, sheet music and accompaniment tracks must be provided.
If your piece is chosen, be prepared to provide summaries of scenes or dialogue from scenes that can be performed leading up to each song
All authors will be paid a royalty based on show ticket sales.
