SIDEWAYS STORIES FROM WAYSIDE SCHOOL - South Bend Civic Theatre

South Bend Civic Theatre announces auditions for Sideways Stories from Wayside

School May 29-31

South Bend Civic Theatre will hold auditions for its next Kids4Kids production, Sideways
Stories from Wayside School Tuesday May 29 and Wednesday May 30, with callbacks
scheduled May 31. Auditions will take place from 7-9 PM at the Firehouse Theatre, 701
Portage Ave, South Bend.

Director Joshua Napierkowski (SBCT’s The Adventures of Nate the Great, The Musical
Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr) is looking for a range of talented students from 2nd grade
through 12th grade for this non-musical production.

Newberry award winner Louis Sachar invites you into Wayside School – the craziest
school with the strangest teachers ever! Students try and survive each day under threat
of being turned into apples or disappearing on the nonexistent 19th floor. Zany and fun,
this play takes all of our school anxieties and brings them to colorful, crazy life!

Performances will take place in the Warner Studio Theatre August 17-26. For more
information call 574-234-1112 or go online at www.sbct.org.
