Hershey Area Playhouse Announces Auditions for Once Upon a Mattress
Hershey Area Playhouse announces auditions for its summer musical, Once Upon a Mattress on Tuesday, May 1 at 6 p.m. and Thursday, May 3 at 6 p.m. Callbacks will be held Sunday, May 6 if needed. Callback times are to be determined.
Auditions will take place at the Playhouse, located at the corner of Sand Hill Road and Cherry Drive, Hershey. Below is a list of all available characters in the show.

Those auditioning are asked to sing at least thirty-two (32) bars of a song that best fits the style of the show and demonstrates their musicality and vocal range. An accompanist will be provided; please ensure your sheet music is already appropriately marked and easy to read with cuts made for the accompanist. Please no a cappella.
All auditioning will be asked to do cold readings from the script. Please wear or bring comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear for the dance portion of the auditions. You will be asked to learn some choreography for this portion of the audition process.
Performances of Once Upon a Mattress will be held July 19-22 and 26-29, 2018 at the Playhouse. Additional audition information is available on the Playhouse’s website,
