Murder at the Orient Burlesque

Auditions will be at Rover Dramawerks, located at
221 W. Parker Road, Suite 580 in Plano, at the northwest corner of 75 and Parker Rd. in the Ruisseau Village Shopping Center.
Brief Synopsis:
When Russian princess Katherina Anastasia Faberge Antoinette joins the cast of the burlesque at Christie’s Orient Palace, the trouble begins, so it’s not a surprise when she turns up dead after only one performance. As Detective Red Flannegan quickly discovers, everyone has a motive, and the Czarina was not only shot, but poisoned, stabbed, electrocuted and strangled. The question then becomes not who did it, but who did what, and is there anyone who didn’t?
Roles available for 6 women and 4 men
Melody Seville– the classically trained singer who’s resorted to burlesque to try and break back into the business
Blondie Starling – the dumb blonde, baby-faced stripper, dating Buddy
Tallulah Lazarre – the older, featured stripper
Czarina Katherina Anastasia Faberge Antoinette – the Russian stripper
Vera Goodman – the comedienne, former girlfriend of Buddy
Jane Katz – the costumer
Buddy Hexler – the comedian, dating Blondie
Walt Michaels – the producer/straight man
Abe Manganelli – the scratchy voiced stage manager
Ira “Red” Flannegan – the Irish cop
All roles are available.

- Please bring a resume and head shot.
- References may be required.
- Actors and technicians will receive stipends.
- Rehearsals will be in Plano starting on or around April 13. All conflicts must be noted at time of audition.
