PAULETTE - A brash, caring, optimistic hair stylist who is friends with Elle and longs to find a man for herself. PROFESSOR CALLAHAN - A pompous, sleezy and manipulative law professor at Harvard who is highly successful, but completely immoral. VIVIENNE KENSINGTON - A smart, savvy, and uptight law student and Warner's fiancee who initially dismisses Elle, but grows to be her friend. WARNER HUNTINGTON III - A good-looking but shallow and pompous guy who breaks Elle's heart and heads off to Harvard Law. BROOKE WYNDAM - An exercise video mogul who is also a former sorority girl. She is energetic and charismatic, yet currently on trial for murder. Ring of Fire Character Descriptions 6 energetic, attractive, versatile singers (3 women and 3 men) who can move and act and are expert in singing country and country rock – particularly the songs of Johnny Cash. It is helpful if some of the singers are also accomplished acoustic guitar or violin players but that is not, in any way, a pre-requisite for casting. All ethnicities and physical types are encouraged to audition.
