Hershey Area Playhouse Holding Auditions for Kids’ Cabaret
Hershey Area Playhouse is holding auditions for the first-of-its kind Kids’ Cabaret production on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Callbacks will be arranged, as necessary.
Auditions, for students in grades 4-12, will take place in the Rose Room at Country Meadows, which is adjacent to the Playhouse, located at the corner of Sand Hill Road and Cherry Drive, Hershey. Use Country Meadow’s main entrance and take the stairway to the second floor.
Those auditioning should come prepared with 36 bars of the song they wish to sing at the Kids’ Cabaret. Duets and small group numbers are encouraged as not every child will receive a solo. Approximately 15 students will be cast for the Kids’ Cabaret.
The Kids’ Cabaret performance will be on New Year’s Eve, Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. It will include a pre-show carnival-themed auction. Additional audition information, including an audition form, is available on the Playhouse’s website,
