SHOW AND CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

ONCE UPON… (Music Box Theater)

WITCH [FEMALE LEAD]: Powerful, forceful, imposing. Contemporary pop mix/belt with an edge. Mover.

CINDERELLA [FEMALE LEAD]: Soft and pretty with a modern mindset, not Disney. Strong contemporary pop mix with no edge. Mover.

ALICE [FEMALE LEAD]: Precocious, cute, upper-class with wide-eyed wonderment. Contemporary pop mix/belt, no edge. Ideally 5’3” or below. Singer/Strong Mover or Dancer.

LITTLE RED [FEMALE SUPPORTING]: Confident character dancer/actor full of sassy fun. Does not need sing well.

PRINCE [MALE LEAD]: Winsome and handsome. Contemporary bari/tenor with a smooth pop quality. Mover.

MAD HATTER [MALE LEAD] Wacky, confident, dramatic, a natural comedian who can portray the role without the benefit of dialogue. Strong Mover. Contemporary pop tenor with some vocal “tricks” (high falsetto or riffing).

WOLF [MALE LEAD] A true triple threat with non-intimidating sex appeal and comic abilities, think Rum-Tum-Tugger. Contemporary Bari/Tenor with an edge. Comfortable with “rap” style lyrics as well.

WHITE RABBIT [MALE SUPPORTING] High energy triple threat. Comfortable with character work and singing in an upper range but does not need to sound trained.

ENSEMBLE [MALE and FEMALE]: Dancers/Singers comfortable with acting, character work, and short vocal solos.

SWINGS [MALE and FEMALE]: Males and Females to cover above tracks.

THE GOOD TIME (Country Grill)

SINGER/DANCERS [MALE and FEMALE LEADS]: Early 20s to 30s, engaging performers with strong country/pop vocals and energetic dance ability. Appealing triple threat performers to believably portray inhabitants of a typical American diner.
