Show Synopsis:
In “Champagne and Licorice” a young woman heads home to Vermont to share her terminal diagnosis with her clan. What greets her on this New Year’s Eve though, is a lot of familial mayhem: she finds out about her brother’s “polyamorous relationships”, she meets her mother’s boyfriend, and they’re all joined by a drunken clown-not a metaphorical clown but a literal clown.

Character Descriptions:
Silky: A dying young woman.
Phil: A drunk part time clown.
Barbara: Silky’s Mother.
Robert: A friend of Silky’s mother.
Eddie: Silky’s brother.
Cherice: A young pregnant woman.
Sacha: A Russian Locksmith.
All ethnicities and ages are encouraged to audition. These roles are flexible and more about putting together a cohesive family unit.
