RWS Entertainment Group will be holding a combined open call for Singers in which Binder Casting and RWS Casting will partner at RWS Studios. Singers will have the unique opportunity to be seen by both casting teams for consideration on upcoming projects throughout 2020.
Seeking: Union and Non-Union Male and Female Singers, any ethnicity, over the age of 18, for a wide array of projects including Broadway, national and international touring, cruise ships, theme parks, corporate events and industrials:
Binder Casting: Disney’s The Lion King (Broadway and touring); Sister Act National Tour (union); Escape to Margaritaville National Tour (non-union); The Color Purple National Tour (non-union); upcoming seasons of City Center Encores, Serenbe Playhouse, Marriott Lincolnshire, ACT of Connecticut, Virginia Stage Company, Dallas Theatre Center, Two River Theater and Papermill Playhouse
RWS Casting: Postmodern Jukebox on Deck touring companies; Holland America Line production shows; Azamara production shows; Virgin Voyages; Europa-Park; Summer season shows at Hersheypark, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and over 20 Theme Parks nationwide; and corporate and branded live events worldwide
Open Call will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2019 at RWS Studios, 37-12 35th Street, Long Island City, Queens, NYC. Sign-in will start at 8:30am when studio doors open.
You will receive a group number and warm-up time as holding space is limited. If you are given a warm-up time later in the day, you will be able to go away and come back to audition at that designated time. Though it is our goal to accommodate as many Singers as we can throughout the day, you are not guaranteed to be seen if you arrive later than 8:30am. The first group of singers will be seen starting at 9:30am. There will be no callbacks held on this day.
Please prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre or pop/rock song that best shows you as a performer. Bring headshot and resume stapled together and sheet music in the correct key. Accompanist will be provided.
