Auditions for BUS STOP at Town Players

Town Players of Newtown announces auditions for BUS STOP by William Inge on Monday and Tuesday, June 29 & 30, from 7-9 PM.

A busload of passengers from Kansas City seek shelter at a roadside diner during a snowstorm, finding respite from the storm as well as friendship and romance.

Auditions will take place at The Little Theatre, 18 Orchard Hill Road, Newtown. Brian DeToma of Danbury will direct.

The production calls for 5 men and 3 women. Actors should read the play in advance and be ready to read sides from the script. No appointment is necessary. All roles are available. Character descriptions are available at

Rehearsals begin the week of July 6, and the production runs Friday and Saturdayevenings, September 4 – 26, with two Sunday matinees.
