TBD Theatre Co. is currently preparing for multiple TYA tours in our 2017/18 season. We are looking for experienced, versatile, energetic, non-union professional male actors aged 20-30. Preference will be given to those who have guitar experience. This is a paid contract position.
To Be Determined Theatre Company is proud to tour professional theatre for young audiences across Ontario! Now in our 6th season we have had the opportunity to tour youth focused theatre to theatres, schools, festivals, libraries and museums. We absolutely love bringing cherished children’s literature or socially infused Canadian plays to life onstage. Watching young audiences engage and relate to these stories through theatre is an incredible experience.
We are holding auditions on Tuesday, April 11th and Wednesday, April 12th, 2017 during the day in Toronto.
For the audition please prepare:
-One contemporary monologue, approximately one minute in length. (Please no pieces from plays that have not been professionally produced. We are a theatre for young audiences company so appropriate pieces would be ideal, but not necessary.)
-One contemporary song in any style accompanied by yourself on guitar or a capela. (Please no self-written pieces. We are looking at your voice type and your guitar ability.)

Please Note: All rehearsals will be held in Guelph and transportation to rehearsals is the responsibility of the actor. Must be interested in touring theatre, please, only serious applicants submit.
