A magical reimagining of a family holiday classic! The Nutcracker Rocks is a mixture of high-power music and dance that will transport you to a land of brave toy soldiers and sweet sugar plum fairies. Based on Hoffmans original story, choreographer Gabriel Chajnik translates the Victorian-era Nutcracker from the bustles and ruffles of the 1890s to contemporary times. The beloved Tchaikovsky score is reimagined in collaboration with renowned rockers Alex Rosamilia and Alex Levine, members of The Gaslight Anthem.SCHEDULED PERFORMANCE DATES & TIMES:December 11 (2PM and 7PM), December 12 (11AM, 2PM and 5PM), December 15 (3PM), December 17 (7PM), December 18 (2PM and 7PM), December 19 (11AM, 2PM, and 5PM)

November 23, 2022Josh Canfield, actor and former CBS Survivor contestant will reprise his role as Clara’s eccentric rocker Uncle Drosselmeyer in Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater (AXCBT)’s THE NUTCRACKER ROCKS! Canfield has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and at A.R.T., in productions including the Tony Award-winning production of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, Doctor Zhivago and the touring Broadway production of Falsettos.
