Rechnitz Theater:
Two River Theater's most popular education program, A Little Shakespeare, breaks the mold to create something entirely new with Tiny Shakes: Romeo and Juliet, adapted and directed by Em Weinstein (A Little Shakespeare: Twelfth Night).
Travel virtually from Russia at the turn of the 20th century, to Manila, South Carolina, and a fantastical New York City of the future with Two River Theater's “Two River Players” in a new series of community readings.
Join the Two River Players for Shakespeare's most famous tragic romance, Romeo and Juliet. The play will be explored act by act over the course of five community readings by members of Two River's staff, followed by a group discussion and Q&A.
Sara Holdren (director of Two River's Twelfth Night and of The Comedy of Errors and Macbeth for the Two River A Little Shakespeare program) shares a 45-minute lecture (the fun kind!), followed by an open Q&A session.
As hospital workers on the front lines are in need of Personal Protective Equipment, Two River Theater has been quick to donate their supply of N95 masks and gloves to the Monmouth County Drop-Off Site, Riverview Medical Center and CareOne at King James.
