AMERICAN THEATER GROUP PRESENTS
A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC
March 7-10. $45 – $55 depending on seating location.
Boasting one of the most singular and sumptuous scores in Broadway history, Sondheim’s enchanting, hilarious romantic farce is a bona fide classic of American musical theater.
Sondheim’s 1973 musical, based on the Ingmar Bergman film Smiles of a Summer Night, follows aging actress Desiree Armfeldt, her mother Madame Armfeldt, and a series of interwoven love affairs during one eventful weekend in the country.
The musical will be directed by Broadway veteran and Tony Award-nominee Hunter Foster, with musical direction by Keith Levenson.
Recipient of six Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Original Score, A Little Night Music is “heady, civilized, sophisticated and enchanting.” – New York Times
