Symphony Siren and Broadway Diva N'Kenge (Motown: The Musical and Sondheim and Sondheim), is currently in Sophisticated Ladies, directed by Emmy Award Winner and multiple Tony Award Nominee André De Shields with choreography by Kimberly Schafer alongside other Broadway veterans and young stars.

Tony Award Winning Crossroads Theatre Company presents Sophisticated Ladies at the New Jersey Performing Art Center March 21st- 24th bringing the posh times of the Cotton Club to the modern audience. A night of glitz and glamour, N'Kenge showcases her opulence in style as one of the Divas from the Cotton Club. Singing classic hits like "It Don't Mean a Thing", "In My Solitude", "Love You Madly" and others, paying tribute to the late great Duke Ellington. N'Kenge and the stellar cast are sure to put a bit of sparkle in your night and a swing in your step.

N'Kenge is featured amongst other seasoned artists including Johmaalya Adelekan (Ain't Misbehavin', Ragtime); Ken Ard (Smokey Joe's Café); Kaleigh Cronin (Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, A Bronx Tale); Jenny Laroche (Summer: The Donna Summer Musical); Jacqueline B. Arnold (Moulin Rouge!), Wesley J. Barnes (Pamela's First Musical); Lamont Brown (42nd Street); Lianne Marie Dobbs (Himself & Nora); C.K. Edwards (Shuffle Along, Or The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed, After Midnight, Billy Elliot: The Musical), Danielle Kelsey (Village Theatre's The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes) and Tommy Scrivens (Muny's A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum).

The creative team includes Burke J. Wilmore (set and Lighting Design), Kimberly Schafer (Choreographer), Gail Brassard (Costume Design) and Nat Adderly Jr as Musical Director. Production Stage Manager is Rick Steiger and Assistant Stage Manager is Chelsea Olivia Friday.

N'Kenge just returned from her stint with the Houston Symphony in its highly anticipated concert as a soloist alongside Montego Glover and Capathia Jenkins under the baton of Principal Pops Conductor, Steve Reineke. In April, N'Kenge will return to Baltimore Symphony in their Cirque goes Hollywood concert with Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly.
