The Holmdel Theatre Company (HTC) is excited to present a series of exclusive events for patrons attending their December production of Yasmina Reza's 'ART'.'

ART' tells the story of what happens when Serge buys an expensive painting, and the reactions of his two closest friends, Marc and Yvan, to his purchase. As arguments and hilarity ensue, the three men border on ruining their friendships. This award-winning comedy, translated by Christopher Hampton and directed by Tyrone Mitchell Henderson, runs at HTC from December 7 - December 16, 2018.

Adding to the fun of the production, 'ART' audiences are invited to attend two exclusive HTC events. On December 7th, audience members are welcome to join the cast, crew, and director for HTC's Opening Night Reception. James F. C. Hyde Sorgho Whiskey proudly sponsors the post-show gathering.

The following week, on December 14, 'ART' attendees are invited to spend an Evening of Art with HTC at a post-show talkback with local Holmdel art collector and professional art historian, Robert Harris Rothchild.

Rothchild has spent almost 50 years collecting nearly 1,000 pieces of priceless artworks from across the globe. Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, Rembrandt, and Joan Miro are just a few timeless creators represented in his impressive collection.

"His collection is amazing," says Kathy Connolly, Artistic Director of HTC. "It's exciting to have someone like [Rothchild] right here in Holmdel. "While ogling priceless masterpieces from the Rothchild collection, which will be on display in the theater lobby, attendees will enjoy lively conversation with Rothchild about 'ART', his fantastical collection, and his book "Fun, Fine Art and Fantasy: The Robert Harris Rothchild Collection".

Two signed copies of the novel will be auctioned off during the evening. The exclusive event is only open to patrons attending the December 14 showing of 'ART'.HTC is excited to open its doors to the burgeoning art and theatre community of Monmouth County, and Holmdel specifically, for these intimate evenings.

'ART' is the second production in HTC's 2018-2019 season, and the company's last show in 2018. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.holmdeltheatrecompany.org/art or call 732.946.0427.
