Pixie Dust Players Presents HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS At UCPAC

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Pixie Dust Players, Union County Performing Arts Center is happy to present Home for the Holidays on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 7:30pm. The event consists of a gala and a benefit concert featuring over 150 performers and music from 24 different shows, all from the past ten years of Pixie Dust Productions. Prior to the concert, there will be a gala with light fare, a magician, and more. Not only is this a fundraiser for UCPAC's Youth Programming, but also a celebration supporting the continuance of this exciting partnership.

Pixie Dust Players was founded in 2007 by 12 year old Lindsay Maron. What began as a small troupe of young teens touring to nursing homes, children's hospitals, and special education schools, soon became a full-fledged Production Company. Since 2008, Pixie Dust has produced 50+ productions including several world premieres and pilot productions.

Offering a wide variety of programs and productions for a large age range and differing experience levels, Pixie Dust strives to provide high quality theatrical opportunities for youth, teens, and young adults to allow them to be touched by the true magic of theatre, whether through performing, working backstage, or discovering new talents within the field. Pixie Dust also continues to fulfill the original mission of bringing the magic of theatre to as many people as possible by touring productions to outreach locations. Most recently, Pixie Dust has begun offering shows to schools as field trips or assembly programs. After taking residence at UCPAC in 2017, Pixie Dust has grown exponentially producing 10+ musicals a year and introducing incredibly exciting and groundbreaking titles. On December 21, we look forward to celebrating our history and looking ahead at what's to come!
