The entertainment extravaganza is an interactive journey presented in theatrical dance, variety acts, acrobatic agility and circus acts displaying heroic courage guided by a troupe of internationally accredited performers who dance the story of New York City’s journey through the last 12 months. Immersed in music, uplifted by dance and driven by renewal, review performances are set for Thursday, July 1, through Saturday, July 10, with the world premiere slated for Sunday, July 11, at 7 p.m. The production will run through Monday, Sept. 6. “The Ride is an iconic entertainment experience and we are thrilled to host the show’s return to New York City at Empire Outlets,” said Joseph Ferrara, principal of BFC Partners. “The show is a spectacular addition to the new offerings we are introducing at Empire Outlets this summer. We invite New Yorkers to come experience The Ride followed by a great dinner at newly opened Clinton Hall’s expansive outdoor deck with views overlooking the Manhattan skyline.” “The Ride is deeply appreciative and artistically energized by Empire Outlets’ warm welcome,” said Humphrey. “Teamed together, we will keep our ‘Eyes on New York,’ in creating New York’s 2021 premiere destination in this summer of renewal.”

Gideon is here to take us into the weekend with “Carolina in My Mind”. The song was original written and performed by James Taylor in 1968. He wrote the song while he was overseas recording for the Beatles’ label Apple Records. It reflects his homesickness at the time.

Review: WIPEOUT Rides a Wave of Success at B Street Theatre

The B Street Theatre has been riding a wave of hit after hit, continuing with Aurora Real de Asua’s surfing comedy, Wipeout. Set in one of my favorite locales, Santa Cruz, Wipeout explores the friendship between three unique women. Rolling surfboards, a hunky instructor, and the bluntness that comes with age make this an engaging, relatable, and completely hilarious take on how our relationships –with ourselves and others – change in each season of life.
