Born into a family of music teachers in Indiana (Pennsylvania), Renée Fleming knows a first international recognition in 1986 by interpreting The Abduction from the Seraglio at the Salzburg Festival. Five years later, it replaces Felicity Lott in The Marriage of Figaro at the Met and definitely earns its stripes diva. Georg Solti André Previn, top chefs praise his voice as smooth as ductile.
