MJTC Presents ACTUALLY

Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company (MJTC) continues its 24th season with Actually by Anna Ziegler. To be directed by Harry Waters, Jr. in his professional directorial premiere in the Twin Cities.

Two Princeton students- a white Jewish girl and an African American guy- must recount their intimate evening together to a university panel charged with assessing whether sexual assault took place. This riveting play explores perception and reality concerning consent and social norms today. MJTC welcomes back University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program graduates Miriam Schwartz (Natasha and the Coat, Church & State, Dai [Enough], Bad Jews, Becoming Dr. Ruth, Handle with Care) and JuCoby Johnson (The Whipping Man) for this relevant new work by the playwright of Photograph 51.

February 16 - March 10, 2019
Performances: Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., Sundays at 1:00 p.m., and Wednesdays/Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. There are additional performances on Sunday, February 17 at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 19 at 1:00 p.m.

All performances are held in the theater of Highland Park Community Center at 1978 Ford Parkway, St. Paul, MN 55116. The theater is fully accessible and has free parking on site. Contact the box office for assistance.
