Three weeks into shooting, producer David O. Selznick believes his film is not working. He fires director George Cukor, pulls director Victor Fleming off “The Wizard of Oz” and hires script doctor Ben Hecht to rewrite the screenplay. Located in Selznick’s office they have only five days to complete this daunting task!
