Every summer, the Rochester University Theatre Company produces Shakespeare Upon Avon.Professional actors and directors from around the country come to RUs campus to perform some of Shakespeares best plays. Past shows include: Comedy of Errors, Macbeth, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, Godspell and As You Like It. Come out and enjoy the Bard in our lovely outdoor theatre space!We have benches available but recommend bringing your own lawn chair or blanket. If a performance has to be cancelled due to inclement weather, you will receive an email notifying you of the change and we will refund your ticket. Accessing the outdoor theatre requires walking down fifteen (15) steps.Don't miss the return of our award-winning Shakespeare festival!
