VOYAGER Comes To Teatru Manoel 11/2

VOYAGER comes to the Teatru Manoel, running Nov. 2 to Nov. 4.

?finMalta National Dance Company present a full-length brand new creation choreographed by Artistic Director Paolo Mangiola in collaboration with visual artist Austin Camilleri. The dance work is inspired by The Golden Record, a gold-plated time capsule launched on the 1977 Voyager Spacecraft to communicate the human story to extraterrestrials. The piece questions how our past, present, and future hopes might be represented now.

?finMalta is Malta's national dance company, pioneering fresh thinking about contemporary dance in the Maltese Islands. Under the artistic direction of Paolo Mangiola, ten dancers research, create and perform his work and new works by invited choreographers. The company is a Euro-Mediterranean hub with the mission to further develop a culture for contemporary dance within the region.
