The Orleans Hotel and Casino will kick off the new year bringing top entertainment to The Orleans Showroom in January, including performances by rock bands Arch Allies, April Wine and Steelheart, and Loverboy, as well as celebrated pianist Ryan Ahern. January entertainment will also feature free live entertainment at Bourbon Street Lounge throughout the month.

Featuring the classic hits of Bon Jovi, Boston, Def Leppard, Journey, REO Speedwagon and Styx, tribute band Arch Allies will rock the crowd with a collective set of '80s favorites. The band covers some of Bon Jovi's biggest hits, including "Livin' On A Prayer" and "You Give Love A Bad Name;" Boston hits like "More Than a Feeling" and "Amanda;" Def Leppard chart-toppers, including "Love Bites" and "Pour Some Sugar on Me;" Journey's classics, such as "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Open Arms;" REO Speedwagon favorites like "Take It On the Run" and "Keep On Loving You;" and Styx hits like "Come Sail Away" and "Renegade."

Arch Allies is comprised of band members creating high-energy, classic rock sing-along performances with dynamic vocals, huge guitars solos, dashing keyboards and powerful drum sounds.

April Wine and Steelheart

April Wine

With 16 studio albums and more than 40 years of hits to their name, April Wine's imprint on the rock music scene began in 1969 in Nova Scotia, Canada. The group enjoyed initial mainstream success with their second album "On Record," which received Gold status in 1972. The album's first single "You Could Have Been a Lady" topped the Canadian charts at No. 1 and remained on the U.S charts for 11 straight weeks, cracking the Top-30. The band continued to record hits throughout the '70s and '80s, including "I Like to Rock," "Roller," "Sign of the Gypsy Queen," "Tonight is a Wonderful Time to Fall in Love" and "The Whole World's Goin' Crazy."

April Wine continued to rock well into the '80s with the release of 1981's "The Nature of The Beast," the group's ninth and most successful album to date. Their hit single "Just Between You and Me" broke the Top-20 in the U.S. and remained on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 16 weeks. "Nature of The Beast" went on to become an international success, selling more than one million copies and going Platinum in the U.S. and double-Platinum in Canada. In 2010, April Wine was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Steelheart

Steelheart formed in the early '90s as a hair metal band, releasing their self-titled debut album that quickly hit platinum status. The band is best-known for their top hits like "She's Gone," "I'll Never Let You Go (Angel Eyes)," "Everybody Loves Eileen," "Can't Stop Me Lovin' You," "Tangled in Reins," "Mama Don't You Cry," "Steelheart" "We All Die Young" and more.

Audiences will enjoy Steelheart's more modern and edgy sound as well as the powerful vocals and multi-octave range of the band's frontman, Miljenko Matijevic.

Loverboy

In their more than 30-year career, Loverboy has sold more than 10 million albums, earning four multi-platinum plaques, including the four-million-selling album "Get Lucky," and a trio of double-platinum releases in their self-titled debut album, "Keep It Up" and "Lovin' Every Minute of It." Their string of hit singles, including "Working for the Weekend," "Hot Girls in Love," "Queen of the Broken Hearts," "Turn Me Loose," and "When It's Over," went on to become the anthems and party songs of a generation of arena-rock fans.

Their success made them the first Canadian group ever to earn Columbia Records' exclusive Crystal Glove Award, celebrating the sale of over five million albums outside their native country. Loverboy also won a record total of six Juno awards in 1982. In 2009, the group was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the Juno Awards show.

The band continues to play their best-loved hits in venues across the world with Mike Reno on vocals, Paul Dean on guitar, Matt Frenette on drums, Doug Johnson on keyboard and Ken "Spider" Sinnaeve on bass.

Ryan Ahern

Award-winning pianist Ryan Ahern has impressed millions of fans performing his breathtaking piano arrangements in more than 100 concerts around the world. Ahern is best-known for his piano mastery and unforgettable shows that include storytelling, laughter and piano renditions of well-known melodies from classical masterpieces to the music of iconic artists like Ray Charles, as well as those from films and Broadway musicals.

Throughout his career, Ahern has earned a series of awards and recognitions, including the Adult-Contemporary Artist-of-the-Year award by the South Bay Music Awards. Billboard Magazine named him "One of the top 10 instrumentalists in the country" and Keyboard Magazine calls him a "Piano Super-Talent."

Audiences will be part of a 2019 filming of Ryan Ahern's new television special presented by Vegas PBS and might appear on camera to be broadcast on television.
