Kansas City Actors Theatre has announced the line-up for its 20th Anniversary season, which will feature one classic work receiving its first professional regional production, a revival of a contemporary classic, the regional premiere of a new adaptation of a classic thriller, and the regional premiere of an award-winning new play.
“Grand Horizons” is the tongue-in–cheek moniker given the senior development to which the fifty-year, mostly amicable marriage of Bill and Nancy French has recently been downsized. “Buckle your seat belts… it is going to be a bumpy (and funny) ride.”
Kansas City favorites David Fritts and Jen Mays star in the stage adaptation of “About Alice” from the celebrated writer and humorist Calvin Trillin. This beautiful portrait of Trillin’s late wife starts August 17th at the City Stage in Union Station running for two weeks only.
The Kansas City Actors Theatre's 18th Annual Season will present Arthur Miller's The Price. Kansas City favorites Victor Raider-Wexler, Mark Robbins, and Jan Rogge join KCAT newcomer Jason Chanos in the multiple Tony® Award-nominated classic “The Price” by pre-eminent American playwright Arthur Miller. The moving family drama opens May 25th at the City Stage in Union Station for two weeks only. Tickets are on sale now at www.kcactors.org/shows/the-price/.

KCAT has announced its 16th Season of productions, showcasing the leading professional theater talent in Kansas City.
For audiences feeling the need for a pleasant, two-hour sojourn into a gentler time, Paul Osborn's 1939 comedy of manners 'Mornings at Seven' at Kansas City Actors Theatre inside Union Station will fill their collective nostalgia voids. Dennis Hennessy's KCAT production is blessed with nine excellent actors of appropriate age to bring this stylish 1939 play-script to life.
