Although Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre remains uncharacteristically closed this holiday season, plans are underway for a reopening in the new year.
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre's intermission due to COVID-19 restrictions has been extended through the remainder of 2020. The theatre is developing plans to reopen on Feb. 4, 2021 with a production of an audience favorite: Smoke on the Mountain.
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre announced its next production will be the popular Bluegrass Gospel comedy Smoke on the Mountain, starting Aug. 13.
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre kicks off its 46th Season on just the right note Jan. 4 as it presents the romantic comedy by Neil Simon and Marvin Hamlisch: They're Playing Our Song.
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre is at 9301 North Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN.
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre has been serving up food, fun and fabulous live entertainment for everyone since 1973. Located in College Park, the theatre was part of a chain of dinner theatres built by Louisville contractor J. Scott Talbott. It was called "Beef" because of the delicious hand carved roast beef served before the performances, and "Boards" referring to the boards or stage of a theatre. Today, the Indianapolis location is privately owned and the sole remaining Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, entertaining more than 155,000 theatergoers annually.
